Lately I’ve been trying to find locations to take photos that aren’t so traditional — don’t get me wrong I love all the gardens and fields but my heart’s been craving something.. different and Samantha + Zoey were the perfect duo for just that.

Samantha’s birthday was coming up and she wanted photos of herself and her daughter because you know how life can pass by so quickly and then you suddenly realize, as a mom, you’re not in any photos with your kids?!

You can almost feel the warmth of the sun just from looking at these photos. I’m ALL about warmth if you haven’t noticed! haha

Samantha picked out the cutest white dress for Zoey but you know little girls, it’s three dresses or nothing! After a quick dress change we traveled down the road to find them a nice spot to sit and cuddle for a little while. (I’m not kidding when I say these are among my top favorite photos I’ve taken this year.)

We ended the session as the sun set and the moon came out, you could hear wild dogs howling as we walked back to the car. (seriously, I’m not just adding that to be cute.) Well there you have it, this session was so warm and beautiful. I can’t wait to come back to this place again with you!
