I recently hosted a 70’s Retro Inspired styled shoot, with the creative help and direction of Lora & her staff from Over Easy Events, it had two separate looks and I’m so excited to be able to show you all the details! There was so much to our styled shoot, I broke it up into two parts, so here is part 1!

First up is the Retro 70’s look that featured two brides, my dear friends Allison & Stefanie, who might I add will be tying the knot next year! I wanted to include a real LGBTQ+ couple because it’s 2020 & love is love.

I chose East End Market as the venue to hold this event because it is an artisanal market/event space located in Orlando, FL, that’s a retro dreamboat all by itself. By day It’s a working market that gives off dynamic energy and by night it can transform into any event you can possibly envision.

Stacey from Flourish Creative Designs made this invitation set and I’m just obsessed with her creative talent. How groovy is this?! The rings and jewelry came from Park Avenue Jewelers in Winter Park!

Sarah from Glitz And Glam Creative styled both brides hair and makeup, she really took the theme and brought it to life. Jamie from Event Painting By Jamie was there capturing the romantic aura of our couple as the event took place. I could hardly keep myself from singing along to every SINGLE song that L&G Live were performing. The hand brushed acrylic sign was designed by LeeAnn of Lettering By LeeAnn, she also hand lettered the table signs and name placeholders on the dishes – I ABSOLUTELY adored the name placeholders because they added this unique pop of color and charm.

Kathy and her team from Ava-Elise Event Decor and More did an amazing job with styling the decor seen on the copper arch, the tables and sweetheart seating area, as well as the gorgeous florals you see above. Orlando Wedding and Party Rental provided the table and mismatched chairs and Gathered Rentals And Events provided decor for the table, including the plates and flatware! CDLinens provided the gorgeous linens and napkins for the tables. Palmers Garden & Goods provided plants & decor.

Allison from Bubble Buggi is located in Central Florida and offers a one of a kind mobile bar experience. Luci, rocking her chic slate grey paint job, featured four draught taps and held our hand crafted cocktails.

Daisy from Daisy Delights Events crafted this beautiful cake to fit the Retro vibes! I LOVED the rough texture, certainly a cool trend right now for cakes. Cuisiniers catered the event with all the finger foods you could possibly find at a house party in the 70’s.

This is only Part 1 of the Retro 70’s styled shoot event. Part 2 will showcase the Retro Glam side and trust me when I say that you do not want to miss the funky details from that one! (disco, disco – uh uh)
